Right after Elohim told Moses (about 2,500 years after Adam and Eve were created) that the people should work six days and then rest on the seventh, the reason is given that it’s because in six days Elohim made the heavens, earth, sea, and all that are in them (Exodus 20: 11), confirmation of the account given in Genesis 1: 1-26 lest their be any doubt about when and what really happened.
