The knowledge of good and evil happened to humanity when Adam and Eve fell at Satan’s bequest, that knowledge of sin with us ever since, so before the fame of Jesus resurrected became common in the world, whether one responded to his/her need for forgiveness probably indicated who was saved for heaven, considering too that all people throughout history have known that the Creator exists, by His handiwork which we see in nature including the cosmos.
