Uzgen in Kyrgyzstan where the Kara Darya river enters the Darya Syr (which flows into the Aral sea) was named for Uz (namesake of Uzbekistan), a son of Aram (who was a son of Shem and grandson of Noah), yet Uzgen probably means Uz’s origins (like gen of the word Genesis), indo european (japhetic) not semitic, because as the Word prophesied, the progeny of Japheth would dwell in the tents of Shem.
