Although we don’t hear much about them, many thousands of Jews undoubtedly were very familiar with the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah’s incarnation and so were excited that He would soon come in the timeframe prophesied in Daniel 9, the same kind of expectant excitement among the born again these days anticipating the Rapture, later return with Jesus after the Tribulation and Armageddon to rule and reign with Him during The Millennium, followed by the New Heavens and the New Earth.
