When the twins whom would be named Esau and Jacob were in the womb, Elohim told the pregnant Rebekah that the elder (Esau) would serve the younger (Jacob), thus she later helped fool her husband Isaac into believing Jacob was Esau when he (Isaac) bestowed the blessing on Jacob, who was righteous compared to the roguish Esau who had no interest in helping to fulfill Elohim’s promise to Isaac’s father Abraham that through his seed all of the world would be blessed (by the Messiah), and Isaac seemingly having lost that vision too in desiring to bless the roguish Esau over the righteously purposeful Jacob.
