When the roughly forty thousand animals and the eight humans departed Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat (composed of pillow basalts showing the mountain emerged through water), trillions of seedlings and root-balls were already growing from the surface layers of the Flood sediments, and tons of carcasses of drowned animals were on the ground for the carnivores to eat (also plants as all the carnivores also eat vegetation), within just a few years much biota fully grown and the animals multiplying.
