Herodotus Wrote That the Population of Thrace Second Only to India’s Seemingly Odd Thing to Say But for Slavs

By the time of Herodotus circa 400 b. c., the Thracians had spread throughout eastern and northern Europe with their Slavic (Thracian) language, hence his otherwise odd statement that the Thracians were outnumbered by only of people of India.
