Team Trump’s lawyers today during their impeachment trial presentation, in only two hours, poked gaping holes in the House Democrats’ prosecution of the president, that the subpoenas for witnesses in the House impeachment investigation were illegitimate because the full House did not vote to begin the impeachment inquiry (instead the subpoenas strong-armed by only the Democrat-controlled judiciary committee in the House), that the Trump team was not allowed to cross-examine those subpoenaed witnesses, that the House judiciary committee is hiding evidence, and that Trump has done more for the defense of Ukraine against Russia than president Obama ever even discussed.
