Aren’t parents considered lousy if they let their kids “get away with murder” such that the kids end-up undisciplined terrors, the bane of peace-loving constructive people? So why should Elohim’s treatment of His children be seen any different, the Parent correcting the child for his/her own good? The pains of this fallen world are common both to born again believers and to the yet unsaved, which should drive everyone to Him but sadly doesn’t, the pride before the fall, thinking eternal salvation’s a bad option!
