Sidon, a son of Canaan (see Genesis 10), founded what today is called Medina Sidonia at the southern tip of Spain, that man called Posidon by the Greeks apparently because poti means powerful lord, so Posidon meaning powerful Sidon. Fosite was a sea god of the Frisians of the Netherlands who recalled Atland consumed by the sea, its nature explained at right under Page Mystery Atlantis Unmasked.
