On Morning Joe, leftist firebrand Donny Deutsch astutely alerted his fellow Democrats that they are in big trouble, that Trump will be seen the hero if he’s forced to invoke emergency powers to build the sections of border barrier needed and thereby pay the unpaid federal workers. Surely the Democrats would challenge Trump’s invocation of the emergency powers provided by law, by that time perhaps Ruth Ginsberg retired and a new Supreme Court nominee up for confirmation, Trump in control.
