The proud Yoruba tribe of southwestern Nigeria claims ancestry from Lamurudu (Nimrod) and his father Kuso (Noah’s grandson Kush), having originated of course from Kish in Mesopotamia, they also built Meroe in the land of Kush where the Atbara river meets the Blue Nile, later progeny having migrated to western Africa perhaps when the Ice Age ended circa 1500 b. c. Meroe was called Seba anciently, for Nimrod’s brother Seba, and nearby a hill called Kuso.
