Submerged about five miles southeast of Heligoland (an island off the coast of Germany in the North Sea) are the ruins of an ice age fortress discovered by Jurgen Spanuth, built by the legendary king Fosite (Posidon), submerged by the flood (the end of the Ice Age) described in the old frisian Oera Linda when “Atland” was consumed by the sea. Although Posidon (“Fosite”) was a Canaanite, holy Heligoland was named for the indo european (japhetic) word halijo meaning underworld, or halig which means holy, at the edge of the earth of the setting sun from the view of the Greeks of the eastern Mediterranean, from where had come the Elysians, the Hellenes, progeny of Japheth’s grandson Elisha.
