On Wednesday in Pennsylvania, state representative Justin Simmons announced he would challenge Charlie Dent in the Republican primary for Congress, then Dent bowed out of the race the next day, so do you suppose the challenge by Simmons had anything to do with Dent’s sudden announcement not to run in 2018? Simmons is strongly pro Trump, in a congressional district supposedly moderate, so it will be interesting to see if the moderates go with the progressive left or the Tea Party right.
