All deer species are inter-fertile, as are the cattle, the felines, canines, bears, pigs, horses, etc., and humans (but not species of them for that would be racist), so those breeding groups of “species” are obviously the biblical kinds of creatures, in modern biological parlance the syngameons of animals, only about twenty-thousand of which need have been on Noah’s Ark. Now wouldn’t this be a great field of study, to determine the extent of the hybridization potential of each syngameon, to better understand the extinct “species” of the Ice Age which could be “resurrected” by selective breeding of current ones?
