For two thousand years, the people of Israel contemplated the prophecy to Abraham that through his seed all the world would be blessed, so when Jesus began to teach that one must be born again to know the Father by Spirit, surely it crossed at least a few of the Apostles’ minds that becoming born again into the congregation (Body of Christ) includes Gentiles of all the world.
