If the Atlas mountains are not a big hint for the location of the center of the Atlantean empire then what would be? Yet the City of Atlas (or Posidon) was between the ocean and a range of mountains to its north, that of course the Sierra Morena of southwestern Spain, just a few hundred miles northwest from the Atlas range. Atlantis means daughter of Atlantis, so logically that could be the namesake of Maya, Miami/Bimini (the Mayaimi tribe), progeny of Maia, deified as one of the Pleiades.
