Elohim could’ve created automatons with no free will rather than angels and humans free to choose, so considering that He didn’t, the choice was Satan’s to rebel (apparently having thought Elohim had not created him), then bringing Adam and Eve along with him, but they (the first couple) were forgiven by the blood shed for an animal skin used to cover their newly ashamed nakedness, probably a lamb, just as Jesus later would be called that Lamb of Elohim, the Savior of all who in repentance will embrace His sacrifice and resurrection unto eternal life, it’s a choice prompted by loving Spirit.
