During the national anthem before the season opener for the Clippers and Lakers, Lebron James strode along the baseline yelling “let’s go” at the fans, very loudly, in a rage, very embarrassing, the clip of that episode which will haunt “Pe-king James” and the NBA for many years to come. It was rank disrespect for the national anthem (and the flag), not quite kneeling, but disrespect nevertheless, he must have thought disrespecting by walking around screaming was more palatable.
