Overwhelming is the evidence that the Maori language, its stronghold now in New Zealand, is rooted in the japhetic language (Sanskrit) of the ice age Indus Valley Civilization, so that the Maori’s underworld is Hawaiki from where the Maori sailed away (and where the dead return to the ancestors), it must have been an ice age land which was consumed by the sea circa 1500 b. c., a good candidate being the vast continental shelf to the north of Australia where ancient ruins may be found.
