The greek poet Hesiod circa 700 b. c. wrote that Atlas ruled far to the west, at the end of the earth, Atlas who the Greeks said was a son of Iapetus (Japheth who really sired Javan/Ion), but Plato circa 350 b. c. upset that applecart by his writings on Atlantis, that Atlas was a son of Posidon, who in reality was Sidon a son of Canaan (one of Ham’s sons) as outlined in Genesis 10 the Table of Nations.
