An excellent scholar of ancient scripts and linguistics, having helped establish the reality of ancient navigation to the Americas, black author Clyde Winters, tellingly though shows his afrocentrism in saying that the Libyans (of Africa) were the Atlanteans, which is peculiar in that Plato described greater Atlantis having included (coastal) Libya but too ice age coastal western Europe, peculiar too in that the Olmecs arrived in Central America circa 1200 b. c., after the demise of Atlantis, yet Clyde Winters is a uniformitarian believing the Ice Age ended circa 10000 b. c.
