Many leftists point to the Scandinavian nations as examples of socialism doing well, but those nations really are capitalistic nations spending a lot of money on welfare and taxing the earners at high rates (which is a disincentive to work) to pay for all that welfare, while Cuba and Venezuela are the true examples of socialism, the government controlling the means of production “for the benefit of all.”
