Friday night in Dallas on the campus of SMU, the hapless Beto O’Rourke will try to defend his goofy open-borders socialism against a vigorous onslaught by championship debater Ted Cruz, who came within a hair of defeating Trump for the Republican nomination (after Trump drafted in Cruz’s wake early in the campaign), so don’t bet on Beto, though somewhat slick, his failed ideology only reminds folks of what Texas would become if Beto gets his way, Texazuela.
