Former security adviser Michael Anton says he was in the meeting discussed in Bob Woodward’s book between president Trump and military leaders about Afghanistan, described in the book a frenzied and irrational Trump, but Anton says the president was just demanding justification from the generals for continuing in Afghanistan, and of course how that continuance should play-out.
