In summers when not many hurricanes are forecast, the sea surface temperatures of the ocean where the hurricanes spawn are cooler than normal (which surely can’t be due to global cooling right?), so the activity of the volcanics on the seafloor obviously is the key to the level of the sea surface temperatures, the “fountains of the deep” for Noah’s Flood having been the engine for the Ice Age.
