What kind of a lawyer (other than Lanny Davis) would say that his client (Michael Cohen) would not accept a presidential pardon from Trump if it were offered to him? Consider too that by goading Cohen into accepting a plea deal dependent on the spurious charge that Trump committed campaign finance violations (candidate Trump used his own money), it’s clear that Lanny Davis cares not one-wit-about Cohen except as an excuse for Mueller to continue on his witch hunt. Lanny, despite his failure to assist his client, is trying to raise the money for his fees by announcing a go-fund-me-type page for Cohen’s “truth campaign,” his campaign to pay Lanny Davis!
