Were the NFL players who kneeled for the national anthem last season unaware that they were dividing the nation? Well of course they knew what they were doing, probably most of them knowing too that protesting the flag really has nothing to do with alleged law enforcement discrimination by the police against black people, so actually quite maliciously did they kneel.
