In the summer of 2016, the DNC reported that their servers had been hacked but then didn’t allow the FBI to forensically inspect the servers, thereby casting doubt on the DNC’s claim that the servers were hacked, which leads to the deduction that it was an inside job (by perhaps Bernie supporter Seth Rich who later was murdered). Of course Comey could have insisted that the servers (and computers) be seized to inspect, so the fact that he didn’t shows that he was complicit in the scheme to deflect from the actual means by which WikiLeaks eventually gained the material to publish.
