A very interesting dynamic has developed for the confirmation process which will ensue after Trump announces his Supreme Court nominee, that if Republican senators Collins and/or Murkowski would vote against the nominee, ostensibly over stare decisis (a standing decision), then the ten Democrat senators up for reelection in states won by Trump would all be under pressure to vote against the nominee too, probable political suicide though for any of them who would do that.
