A rumor being proffered by the Washington Post, from a supposed anonymous source, that Scott Pruitt in the spring had asked president Trump to let him takeover Jeff Sessions’ job, was indirectly denied today by Trump, tweeting that the Washington Post often dreams-up such “news from anonymous sources,” yet if Pruitt actually did make that request, it’s unlikely that Trump would agree to it, seeing justice being served slowly, by Congress, flushing-out the sneaky ObamaGate players in the ongoing hearings, great theatre for the Republican candidates leading up to the 2018 midterm elections, and really fodder too for the president going into his 2020 reelection campaign, the drip-drip-drip of juicy ObamaGate news greatly detrimental to the Democrats which will go-on-for-years.
