The Word predicted that after Noah’s Flood, progeny of Japheth would dwell in the tents of Shem’s progeny, sharing their languages obviously, such as regel in Hebrew (Semitic) meaning foot, and regal, royal, rajah in Indo European (Japhetic) meaning ruler, the arbiter of measures such as the foot or ped, adopted by Semites as in Paddan Aram, the footprint or land of Aram, a son of Shem.
