Facing the midterm elections in six months, the Democrats (and establishment Republicans) are really forced to continue trying to block the investigation of ObamaGate which though of course hurts their prospects going into the fall, their calculation that obstructing will not hurt them as badly as would full exposure of ObamaGate with prosecutions certainly ensuing.
