The Republicans in Congress should do a benefit-cost analysis about keeping Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House vs. replacing him now with Jim Jordan, seeing that there’s little chance “the blue wave” will happen, and even less a chance with Jordan the Speaker because upon consideration that the base of the Republican party (constitutional nationalists) will be more motivated to get-out-to vote in the 2018 midterms with Jordan at the helm, plus Democrats and many Independents liking Trump’s agenda (and therewith the constitutional nationalist agenda promoted by Jordan not by Ryan).
