As the colloquialism goes, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, and so it was with the Canaanites of Atlantis and the people who lived in the mineral rich region of the Tarsus river of southern Turkey (that river which flows into the far northeastern corner of the Mediterranean), when the Ice Age had ended, the people of Tarshish (a son of Javan and grandson of Japheth) sailed west to assume control of the mineral rich Sierra Morena mountains of southwester Spain and the land of Tarsus in the Taurus (meaning bull) mountains taken over by Cilix, a Canaanite, s son of Agenor, that region then become known as Cilicia, and the old land of the Atlanteans as Tartessos.
