Beginning with Jeff Sessions’ failure to tell president Trump that as attorney general he would recuse himself from any investigation into the Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential campaign, then having allowed Rod Rosenstein to stonewall the ObamaGate congressional investigations, Sessions can only be seen sympathetic to those shielding the scoundrels from scrutiny, not a good look.
