Eudoxus of Cnidos circa 300 b. c. wrote that the Egyptians counted chronology by lunar months, not by years, and Eusebius wrote that the flood of Ogyges (the end of the Ice Age) occurred in the timeframe of the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt (a time of catastrophic climate change as described in the Egyptians’ Ipuwer Papyrus), so Plato’s 9,000 years before the greek Solon’s time for the demise of Atlantis (as well as much of Greece), learned from the Egyptians, was really 9,,000 months, that’s circa 1500 b. c.
