Babylonians taught that Ishtar (Easter), the goddess of fertility, on the spring equinox had come down from above in an egg, hence the easter egg hunt, and bunnies were a sign of the fertility, so the purpose of the Jews to celebrate Passover at the first full moon following the spring equinox has been ignored for centuries, although Easter is set always following the spring equinox.
