The uniformitarians try to dodge the obvious question about what was the state of time and matter before “the big bang” by saying the cosmos forever has been expanding and contracting, yet matter always trends to randomness according to the second law of thermodynamics, so the creation of matter and time thereby was a miracle by the Creator, Elohim.
