During the six years that Julian Assange has been holed-up in the Ecuadorian embassy in England, he has been warned by the Ecuadorian government to stop tweeting, to little avail, yet now despite his disobedience he has been granted citizenship by Ecuador, so what changed to cause the Ecuadorian government officials to accept Assange as one of their own? The government of Ecuador is even trying to convince Enlgand to accept Assange as an embassy employee, free to travel, that request not granted by England so far, though perhaps president Trump will have some influence on that.
