Would Ron DeSantis rather subject himself to the scorn of Trump (America’s Heckler) to almost certainly lose or support Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination and in the general election to well position himself for a run in 2028? The Florida state legislative can help make the latter happen by not changing the law that an office holder while in office cannot run for another office?
