A creature large and fierce enough to have gobbled down a man like a big fish gulps down a small one killed king Morvidus of Briton circa 330 b. c., apparently a “dinosaur,” those types of creatures laced in ancient British lore (such as the Grendel in Beowulf) up through the 17th century (see Chapter 10 in the book After the Flood by William Cooper and Page at Sway titled Natural Selection by Noah’s Flood).
