That the Dorian greek Hercules who killed Geryon near Cadiz (Spain) was a great grandson of Perseus who killed the Gorgon Medusa in northwestern Africa, and that Geryon was a grandson of the Medusa, locks in that relationship chronologically; Perseus and Medusa who lived while the Ice Age was ending, then Hercules and Geryon about a hundred years later circa 1300 b. c.
