During the Ice Age, the Bering Sea between eastern Siberia and Alaska was an isthmus, the Bering Land Bridge across which migrated progeny of Togarmah such as the tribe of his son Savir (from Subartu in the Zagros spread to Siberia), and other Turkic speakers (Turqi another son of Togarmah) who spoke Dene-Yeniseian in central Siberia then spread across the Bering bridge with the Na-Dene languages.
