The first dynasty Xia of China lasted from circa 2150 B. C. to circa 1500 b. c. then the Shang dynasty took over, which lasted until circa 1050 b. c., followed by the Zhou dynasty, transitions mirroring the days of Heber’s progeny among whom were Abraham in the land of Canaan which eventually Joshua conquered circa 1400 b. c. to begin the days of the Judges which lasted until the days of kings David and Solomon circa 1000 b. c. and those following when water storage and irrigation had become necessary.
