Would Space Aliens Have Evolved From Swamp Goo Like Humans Supposedly Did or By Some Other Unknown Means?

If space aliens exist then how did they come to be? Would it have been by darwinian evolution, spontaneously generated from nothingness, or are those seen by some really just spirit entities purposed to fool humankind? Which would you surmise?
