Sanctimonious means hypocritically pious or devout, which certainly applies to Ron DeSantis who said virtually nothing when Trump’s Mar-a-Lago was raided and who is being backed by a bevy with wealthy and/or influential Never Trumpers bent on taking down our greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. So branding Ron DeSanctimonius certainly fits, unnecessary confrontation to some Republicans yet who can deny that DeSantis has been trying to squirrel his way to the top as if Trump is not the leader of the MAGA movement which did Make American Great Again and promises to do it again.
