The Word tells us that most of king Solomon’s mineral wealth (gold, silver, copper, and tin) came from Ophir (the ancient mines of Mt. Ophir named for a son of Heber’s son Joktan) near the strait of Malacca, and more mineral wealth from Tarshish, southwestern Spain, where today is Tharsis (near Huelva), and Cerro Solomon (mountain of Solomon), Zalamea La Vieja (old Solomon), as well as Zalamea Real (real Solomon), the same mining district of the Sierra Morena range exploited by the Atlanteans (named for Canaan’s grandson Atlas) about five hundred years previously.
