Perhaps the greatest expenditure of federal dollars right now would be to help U. S. farmers pay for the diesel they need for their machines, and for the fertilizer they need for optimum crop growth, because reportedly the sky high prices of those two essential commodities for successful farm production are forcing many farmers to the brink of shutting-down already.
