As the Word warns the unsaved, Jesus Christ will come near to take up (rapture the living born again after the dead who’d been born again) like a thief in the night, the Rapture (Hebrew word harpazo from which comes the word harpoon, like a raptor) of the born again who are expecting His return like the Galilean brides in the time of Jesus’s incarnation waited for that unannounced time when the groom (Jesus) would come to take her (the born again) to his father’s house, a picture of the Rapture.
